I haven't had a problem with mine, and I'll tell you why...I'm not a 7 year old snot nose little brat that doesn't realize this sh1t costs money (because mommy and daddy bought it)and needs to be taken care of.

Remember back in the old Sega/Nintendo era when the best games cost more? I remember shelling out $80 for Shining in the Darkness AND Phantasy Star 4. Honestly, I'm not even going to get a PS3 because I've never liked their first party titles anyway. But if you're paying $60 for a Xbox360 game, what the hell is $10-$20 more gonna do. It sure sounds nice, but I'll believe it when I see it. It will add cost too the system, and that's money Sony can't afford to lose. They won't raise the price either.....we'll see in due time .
You do realize that most programmers have stated that they wont make their games in 1080p. 720p and 1080i will be sufficient for 10 more years.
You do realize that the Cell was in development long before the PS3 was ever a glimmer in Sonys eye. It was meant to be a handy, all-purpose chip. It was not created to be a master gaming chip. I can tell you love Sony. But you need to learn to live with the FACT that the PS3 will be a leap forward, but it won't be any better than in competition in terms of power. The Cell just isn't that special. Listen to #26, they got the right idea.

Whether you like Sony or not, they sure are getting a whole lotta bad publicity. I kind of feel sorry for them.....not really. It's their own fault for promising to give the world to their fans. If Sony didn't suck they'd be really cool.
I don't want to believe it either, but the truth is, the Cell wasn't originally made for video games. IT'S NOT A VIDEO GAME PROCESSOR!!! It won't do all the amazing thing we've been told. It will work, but not at well as promised.

I just think the Sony boys are realizing how much negative publicity the PS3 is getting and they're scared that their precious little blu-ray movie console isn't worth it, so they have to put the blame somewhere. That blame is on the the 360 boys. Grow up Sony boys. Your little system will do great, but so will it's competition...deal with it.
Graphics improve with time. The Wii will not compete graphically, but it'll still improve greatly in the area.
